What are small groups at SDPC?
Small Groups are a fast track to enjoying the blessing of community here at SDPC. Groups vary in age range, meeting frequency, and study subject. Groups will meet (sometimes over a meal) and have some guided discussion led by the small group leader. Most groups have dedicated time for men and women to share prayer requests and life updates.
Small groups are a great way to live out Hebrews 10:24 which reads, "let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works". We believe that community is a catalyst for growing as Christ-followers.
Why should you join a small group?
You should join a small group so that you can grow as a Christ-follower. Joining a small group helps you get connected with a core group of fellow believers in which you can be encouraged as well as be an encouragement to others. It's also a lot of fun! Plenty of laughs and fond memories to be made within small groups. If you want to grow in Christ and enjoy the blessing of community, then small groups are for you!
