Our mission is to plant the word of God in the hearts of our students, teach them that they were created to glorify Him, and share the gospel with our audience.

In its inaugural season, the SDCT plans to foster a strong sense of community among the cast, crew, and volunteers, united by the shared goal of producing quality performances that communicate a clear and compelling biblical message. 

Each week will include...

A focus on discipleship, each class time begins with a devotional, followed by smaller prayer groups before the cast and crew begin working on music, choreography, and scene work.

By the time show week arrives, the cast and crew have witnessed God's steadfast love at work through their prayers. Time together backstage becomes sacred as the cast unites in praise, worship, and prayer. It is a tangible expression of what God has done throughout the production process. 

This year they will present Jack!, a musical about a witty young man whose choices leave him facing giant temptations.

After a full career in the ballet world, God shifted Barbara's focus to a musical theater ministry in North Carolina.

For the past 18 years, she has served Spiritual Twist Productions (STP), first as a volunteer choreographer, director, costumer, and set designer, before joining the staff as production manager, and later being promoted to executive director.

Over the past few years, she sensed God calling her to Ohio to begin a new theater ministry and continue using the arts to share His love and transform lives.
